Overview
WAE is an on-demand workforce app designed to offer flexibility and ease in managing schedules. Over a six-month period, I contributed to the development and production of both existing and new screens, as well as devised intuitive solutions for complex product requirements.
  • Worked as one of only two designers in a fast-paced startup environment, collaborating closely with the boss.
  • Rapidly iterated on multiple screens and versions under tight deadlines, enhancing skills in Figma and understanding of stakeholder needs.
  • Redesigned the website for employer use to be clearer, more intuitive, and user-centered.
Desktop Screens + Prototypes
Dashboard
Designed as a concept to illustrate potential features and functionality. Although not yet developed, this dashboard was envisioned to support future expandability and ease of use, aligning with the company's goal to enhance the overall user experience as more critical screens are finalized.
Add/Create Job
Revamped the add/create job flow to address slowness and repetitiveness. Developed and refined four detailed iterations, adapting to evolving requirements throughout the process. Below are two earlier iterations
One iteration of the job flow redesign provided the flexibility to create a job while simultaneously viewing all current jobs. This approach was a strong contender for a long time due to its versatility. However, the final design opted for a more straightforward solution to better meet the project’s evolving requirements and enhance overall efficiency.
Final/ Most Current version:
My Jobs Page - Roster Cards
Designed a jobs page to manage multiple job rosters simultaneously, including functionalities for checking in employees, removing them from the roster, and managing waitlisted candidates. The project presented challenges due to complex requirements and varying opinions, but through iterative design, the use of cards was refined to balance functionality with a clean, user-friendly interface.
First iterations:
Most Current Iterations:
New Admin Job Page Mind Map
Developed to organize and clarify complex project requirements for a user review page for admins. The mind map helped simplify the information, aiding in the creation of wireframes and improving design efficiency.
WIP Design System
Due to the fast-paced environment and being outnumbered by engineers eager to get to work, it was challenging to maintain screen consistency before engineers made changes. To address this, I helped create a working design system aimed at ensuring design uniformity and reducing the need for future revisions.

Mobile Screens
App and Google Play Store Screens
I designed the App Store screens for the app when it first launched. This iteration was one of my favorites, as it showcased the app’s features and aesthetics to attract and engage potential users.
Employee Screens
Revised existing employee screens to better align with evolving project needs and requirements.
Created new screens to enhance employee flexibility and enable more robust profile customization options.
Designed a new statistics page that allows employees to track their progress, productivity, and any penalties, providing a comprehensive overview of their performance.
Mini Design System
Developed a mini design system for the original mobile screens to facilitate the creation of new screens and ensure design consistency in future updates.
